Minutes from the Meeting of January 21, 2004 Meeting called to order by Jerry Bamberger Roll Call: Jerry Bamberger called roll. All present voted aye, motion passed by unanimous vote. Election of New Officers: Motion by Mr. Bohman to approve the slated officers for the New Board - Mark Spicer - Chairman, Adam Koenig - Vice Chair, Jim Best - Treasurer, Peggy Sensel - Secretary, second by Mrs. Gamel. All present voted aye, motion passed by unanimous vote. Approval of Minutes: Motion by Mr. Koenig to approve the minutes for the regularly scheduled December 17, 2003 TBNK Meeting minutes, second by Mrs. Sensel. All present voted aye, motion passed by unanimous vote. Approval of Financials: Motion to approve financials for all three accounts jointly for December 2003 by Mr. Bamberger second by Mr. Nalbandian. All present voted aye, motion passed by unanimous vote. CPC Operations Report: Jason Dudas reported: * First PSA day was great success. Had many non-profit organizations participate. Thanks to Jen Otten, Tim Broering, Bryan White and all that helped to make it a great success. PSA's are currently airing on our channels. Hope to do other PSA Day's in the future. * CPC kicked off winter sports with Girls basketball tournament in December. Have taped 15 games so far. Thanks to Ted Bushelman and All Volunteer Cable One for bringing us Pro-Am boxing at Thomas Moore. * TGC - taped a lot of holiday events - Judge Murgatoyd's last holiday address, Ludlow's Christmas parade, Covington's tree lighting ceremony and Crestview Hills Tree Lighting ceremony * Showed clips of The Point PSA, Redwood Rehabilitation Center PSA, You Saw it on...CPC Sports Promo, You Saw it on...High School Football Promo, You Saw it on...CPC music promo, Holiday Special highlights, CPC Sports Girl's basketball highlights. * Hours report: Program hours were the highest yet for the month of December - 181 hours which is more than doubled from last year. Equipment usage dropped slightly in December, but that was expected. Insight Report: Bob Bennett -Insight Technical Manager, reported: * Ended December 2003 with 44,352 basic cable customers. Net gain of 110 from November 2003. * Ended December 2003 with 16,570 digital cable subscribers. Net gain of 265 from November 2003. * Ended December 2003 with 7,817 insight broadband subscribers. Net gain of 244 from November 2003. * Answered 33,703 calls coming into the offices in December - gain of 2000 from November. * Answered 94.4% of all calls coming into the offices. * The hold time increased to 20 seconds * 99.1% of completion on time. Director's Report: Tim Broering reported: * Non-member Committee met on 1/20/04 - report to come. * FCC 1240 Committee met in December - report to come. Gathering a lot of statistics. * Yearly Audit is almost complete - report to come. * Power Router - swapped modems and control cards, both didn't work. Going to purchase an updated router from Sigma and install it then Insight is going to help find and fix the problem. * Past CPCAC meeting - discovered audio problem in Boone County. Going to work with Insight to get that problem fixed. New Business: Approval of New Hire to Fill Office Manager Position: Motion to approve the hiring of new office manager by Mr. Bamberger, second by Mrs. Sensel. All present voted aye, motion passed by unanimous vote. Old Business: Update from Non-Member Cities Committee: There are a lot of statistics to put together - working on getting information condensed. We know the target and the pitch. The focus is on bringing the community together. Have dates to work with. Will have clear and condensed information for February Board Meeting. Comments from the Floor: None.
