COMMUNITY PROGRAM CENTER ADVISORY COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES August 7, 2002 CALL TO ORDER The CPCAC August 7, 2002 meeting was called to order by Chairman, Pam Mullins. ROLL CALL AND PLEDGE Mr. Bushelman calls the roll. Members Present: John Stephenson, Ken Kraft, Jerry Schrepfer, Ted Bushelman, Pam Mullins Members Absent: Lisa Lay, Chris McGreevy, Paul Berk Also Present: Mr. Broering, TBNK Executive Director, and Mr. Jason Dudas, CPC Program Director, APPROVAL OF AGENDA Mr. Schrepfer made a motion to approve the agenda for the CPCAC August 7, 2002 meeting second by Mr. Kraft. Motion passed by unanimous vote. APPROVAL OF MINUTES Motion by Mr. Bushelman to accept the May minutes with the addition of adding John Stephenson to the Members present, second by Mr. Schrepfer. Motion passed by unanimous vote. CPC OPERATIONS REPORT Jason Dudas Reported: * Training Numbers have increased * Hours are still up * Showed clips of Baseball, Softball, B.E.S.T. project, Wild Wednesdays, Villa Hills Parade, CPC Sports Promo and Extreme Sports TBNK REPORT * Gave a workshop for the students at Redwood Rehabilitation * Did a workshop with Carlisle Elementary * New Clearcom Headset intercom system for Studio Kit * Ordering Time Base Correctors for the channels * Newsletter has been mailed out OLD BUSINESS. Report from Fall Open House Committee: No members present NEW BUSINESS CPC Incentive Program: Jen gave a description and showed some of the new items. Spring '03 ACM Central States Region Conference: Discussed progress on the ACM. CPCAC MEMBER COMMENTS Ted mentioned that Cable One has more sporting events coming up including Cyclones. John mentioned that he is very happy to see all the great coverage of the high schools. Pam mentioned the 8th Annual Northern Kentucky African American Heritage Festival.
