| Training classes will be offered on a first-come, first-served, non-discriminatory basis. Special workshops and advanced classes may be offered from time to time, and will be announced at least 14 days in advance. Any person wishing to take an access training workshop, an equipment competency test, or cablecast a program must first attend an orientation session. Likewise, any individual wishing to use CPC equipment, facilities or channel time must attend this orientation. |

| Orientation Offered the 1st Tuesday of each month, Orientation class provides a basic overview of the Facility and what it has to offer the community. Anyone who is interested in producing a program or becoming a crew member for a show must first attend the Orientation class, after which, they are free to take other classes the Center offers. Field Production Class Offered the 2nd Thursday of each month, Field class teaches producers the essentials of producing programming in the field. Completing this class will certify producers in checking out Field Equipment for their use (Cameras, Tripods, Lighting Kits, Audio Equipment, etc.) Basic Editing Class Offered the 3rd Tuesday of every month, this class teaches producers how to utilize editing techniques to enhance their production. Studio Class Offered the 4th Tuesday of each month, Studio class introduces producers to the element of 'live' and 'live-to-tape' production and trains them on all studio equipment they will need to produce a successful program. All 'LIVE' shows produced in our studio requires 4 Studio Certified crew members, which does not include talent. Also, any show featuring a 'Call In' segment must screen all calls. Shows that are produced 'Live-to-tape' only require 2 Studio Certified crew members. Adobe Photoshop Class This class is held every fourth Wednesday of each month and features a 3 hour overview of this popular mage editing software. CPC offers Photoshop in its A/B roll editor, the control room, our Mac and PC based Non-Linear editors |

| Studio Kit Training CPC has all you need to do a multi-camera shoot in the field with its ‘studio in a box’. The kit contains a video switcher, VTR, preview and program monitors, an audio mixer and portable intercom systems. Also included with the studio kit is training on our JVC dv 300 Digital cameras that accompany the kit. Training sessions are arranged on a personal basis with one of our full time staff members and qualifications will be determined on competecy of the producers in basic editing Advanced Editing (Adobe Premiere & Avid Media Composer) The Community Program Center is equipped with two non-linear editing workstations which are available to producers. Our RT 2000 non-linear edit bay is offered the 1st Wednesday of every month. Our Avid Media Composer is offered the 2nd Wednesday of every month Training sessions are arranged on a personal basis with one of our full time staff members and qualifications will be determined on competecy of the producers in basic editing. |
